7.5 hour long workshop, three sessions each one week apart
ALL supplies included
Prerequisites: Learn to Sew Basics @ RICK RACK and/or experience sewing on a sewing machine
Are you quilt-curious? Our Intro to Quilting workshop is for those who want to dabble in quilting concepts without the commitment. In this workshop we will guide you through the core concepts of quilting - cutting, piecing, quilting and binding - while you sew a modern, 40" x 49" mini quilt .
This workshop is three parts long with one week in between each session so that you can practice your new-found skills and get some fun home work completed! Participants can work in between sessions at home or in our studio using complimentary studio time.
Participants MUST BE comfortable with:
- sewing fabrics with a sewing machine
- threading the machine and bobbin
- sewing straight stitches
- fabric pressing
- you have a few projects under your belt
If you are a newer sewist then please be sure to take our Learn to Sew Basics workshop first.
Heads Up Cool Cats! If you're signing up for a workshop less than 5 business days from the start date, there's a small chance we won't have your first choice of colour available. We promise all our options are the bees knees, though!
