Is your closet bursting with knit or sewn garments you've put love and hard work into but they aren't doing it for you anymore? Join RICK RACK and STASH on August 22nd for our Me-Made Clothing Swap; find your garments new homes and find yourself new treasures!

Registration closes August 14th, and clothing drop-off will run from August 1st until August 19th. All clothing must be dropped off at either RICK RACK or STASH by August 19th - washed, re-blocked for knits, in wearable condition, and properly labeled (label template will be sent with registration confirmation). Maximum 6 items per participant. Space is limited and only registered individuals can participate in the swap.

While drop offs can be done at either RICK RACK or STASH the swap event on August 22nd will be at RICK RACK (4704 Manhattan RD SE)

What to bring:

Limit of 6 pieces per person. The limit is 2 accessories per person, so if you bring 2 me-made accessories you can bring 4 me-made garments. Accessories include purses, totes, backpacks, wallets, scarves, and mittens
Handmade garments that just aren't doing it for you anymore style or size-wise. That means sewn, knit, or crocheted tops, bottoms, dresses, jumpsuits, and outerwear!
Make sure the garment is in good condition, if you wouldn't wear it in its current state chances are no one else will.
RICK RACK and STASH welcome all body types and genders, but we do have a predominantly female-identifying community. If you are looking to swap for garments that are either unisex or masculine be aware that selection may be limited.

This event is non-refundable. You are welcome to send someone in your place, just let us know their contact information before the event. *If clothing is not dropped off by the registration deadline you will not be able to participate in the swap.

SOLD IN FULL METERS - fabric, elastic, and other products that are cut to measure are available only in full meters for online orders. Its a Shopify thing and as soon as we find an awesome workaround you can count on us to make that magic happen. Want to put in a request for a 0.5 meter cut? Find the form HERE! Due to order volume, 0.5m requests will NOT be processed during online sales.

Buying fabric? Measure twice so that we can cut once! Review your pattern. Check the unit of measure (we go by meters). Add a bit of length to factor in shrinkage during prewashing.

Buying patterns? Pattern size ranges can vary depending on the pattern, designer, and style. Review the pattern closely before purchase and check your own measurements against the pattern specifications. All patterns and printed materials (books, magazines, etc.) are final sale.

Picking colours? RICK RACK does our best to accurately represent all products and colours but colours may appear different between device screens. Please be aware that any cut fabric cannot be returned or exchanged, so if you're not sure about colour drop us a line or send us an email!
