Delivery Methods

When your order is ready for pick up you will be sent an automatic email about it. We kindly ask that you wait for that nifty email so that you don't show up before your order is ready. If you have made multiple orders and would like to pick them all up at once, please wait for the "Your order is ready for pick up" email for your most recent order to land in your inbox. Please remember to bring a reusable bag when picking up. Your order will not be packaged in a bag. If you wish to purchase a bag in store they are $0.25 each. 

Pick-up hours:

Monday: 12 pm-5 pm

Tuesday to Sunday: 10 am - 5 pm

Local Pick Ups will be held for a maximum of 1 month. We will contact via email to reminder you of the pick up deadline and attempt to arrange pick up. Your order will be automatically refunded if not picked up with the month or the timeframe agreed in the reminder email, and will be subject to the following fees:

  • Items sold by the meter or cut to order: 25% of purchase price restocking fee
  • Notions, Patterns, Books & Gifts: No restocking fee
  • Wide Format PDF Printed Patterns: No refunds, order will still only be kept for 1 month

Fab sewists in Calgary are eligible for local delivery. We deliver Monday to Friday (excluding holidays). It's that easy! To qualify for local delivery, choose "ship" and enter your delivery address. If you are in our delivery zone, the "local delivery" option will pop up. We reserve the right to cancel deliveries outside of the city limits. We currently DO NOT offer local delivery to college or university campuses or housing. 

For orders under $120, local delivery is $11.

For orders over $120, local delivery is complimentary!

Local delivery takes 1 to 2 business days. We try our best to offer same day delivery on orders placed before 10 AM on weekdays, however we can't guarantee it! Orders placed on weekends will be processed the next business day. Orders may be delivered into the evening as late as 9pm.

Our delivery driver may not leave your package if they can't reach you by phone and no explicit instructions are provided in the notes of your order for leaving the package at your address. Fraezor Sinclaire will attempt to contact you two separate times to deliver your package, if he is unable to get a hold of you, your package will be returned to RICK RACK and we will contact you to come pick it up from our store front. If you would like to have your package re-delivered there will be an additional local delivery charge of $11 (including orders over $120). No refunds will be given for delivery fees.

Orders may take 1-2 business days to ship. Shipping is done Tuesday to Friday. 

Canadian shipping is complimentary for orders over $200 CAD.

For orders under $200, shipping is a flat-rate of $15. Canadian shipping is done through UPS, Purolator, or Canada Post. This awesome service includes tracking.

Currently the Oversized Lettermail shipping option ($7) is only available for 1 - 3 pages of pattern printing OR 1 issue of Burda Style. Oversized Lettermail ships through Canada Post and DOES NOT include tracking. If this shipping option is chosen RICK RACK is not responsible for any lost orders.

Products/ items that are NOT physical (there is no item to ship) will not factor into shipping minimums towards complimentary shipping. This includes gift cards, servicing, classes, and donations. Shipping costs may be added after your order is placed if it contains any of these non-physical items.
