What you'll make: 1 custom Jerry sneaker in your selected size. You'll then have the skills to complete your second sneaker at home!

Duration: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, with 1 hour break

Cost: $250.00+gst/person

Where: RICK RACK Studio - 4704 Manhattan RD SE, Calgary, AB

Skill Level: Confident Beginner and up. As this class requires some sewing beforehand, you must know how to machine sew on your own.

Supplies:

Included:

• Soles & insoles by Sneakerkit (white, black, or natural)
• thread to match, 1 needle
• a Sewing Awl tool
• 1 Package of Prym 5mm grommets with tools to match your soles
• Foam interfacing (must be picked up prior to workshop - will be available after the registration deadline)
• Printed pattern and instructions

Not Included:

• Fabric specifications will be sent with the confirmation email. The pattern was designed for quilting cotton, canvas, Mora faux leather, fabric-backed cork, waxed canvas, or waterproof canvas
• Thread
• Shoelaces

Machines: You will need to bring your sewing machine, needles for your chosen fabric, and other machine accessories (i.e. bobbins); all other tools will be provided

Size Range: SneakerKits are available in European sizes 36 - 47, which are equivalent to US Ladies sizes 6.5 - 14.5 and US Men's sizes 5 - 13. See size chart in the workshop photos, or HERE

Homework: You will need to come to class with your fabric pre-quilted. Instructions will be provided with your registration confirmation

Registration Deadline: Sunday, June 8th, 2025

Registrations can be canceled up to 48 hours after booking for a full refund.

Due to the need to special order supplies for this guest workshop there are no refunds or credits after the 48 hour window. If you are unable to attend you are welcome to send someone in your place, please let us know their name and contact information prior to the class start. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.
