LDH Rotary Blades are made out of carbon steel, and designed with a universal opening that will fit other 45 mm rotary cutters with the same design, such as Olfa and Fiskar.
How long do the blades last?
This can vary person to person, depending on how they use their cutter and the type of cutting mat they have. LDH has tested out rotary blades at different fabric shops in Toronto, who are cutting up to 8 hours a day, five to seven days a week. The result? The rotary blades lasted between 3 -4 months with heavy use.
Note: the blades are coated with oil to keep them protected from humidity during transportation. We recommend wiping them off with a scrap piece of cloth before use to avoid staining your project.

Buying fabric? Measure twice so that we can cut once! Review your pattern. Check the unit of measure (we go by meters). Add a bit of length to factor in shrinkage during prewashing.
Buying patterns? Pattern size ranges can vary depending on the pattern, designer, and style. Review the pattern closely before purchase and check your own measurements against the pattern specifications. All patterns and printed materials (books, magazines, etc.) are final sale.
