The Colby Sling Pack is a comfortable sling pack with some extra security to keep you safe.
This bag is soft-sided and has a drawstring top that cinches the bag closed, with a uniquely shaped flap that can be secured over top with a magnetic snap or twist lock. The pattern features an interior sunglasses pocket and an optional mesh water bottle pocket. Learn a new way of adding an interior zipper pocket, and the padded sling strap will keep you comfortable as you travel around all day!
The construction method for this pattern uses the turning technique through an interior zipper pocket, allowing you a clean interior finish.

Hello! My name is Tara C Sinclair and I live in Calgary, AB with my husband and daily companion, Lincoln (our Labrador Retriever). I have a beautiful grown stepdaughter who keeps me on my toes even as an adult. I teach and lecture on the road, and design from home throughout the days, and during the summer, I spend time escaping to our campsite where we sit in front of a fire and play fetch all day long.

Buying fabric? Measure twice so that we can cut once! Review your pattern. Check the unit of measure (we go by meters). Add a bit of length to factor in shrinkage during prewashing.
Buying patterns? Pattern size ranges can vary depending on the pattern, designer, and style. Review the pattern closely before purchase and check your own measurements against the pattern specifications. All patterns and printed materials (books, magazines, etc.) are final sale.
