In the Folds Flynn Jacket Review by Jenn!

We've all been crushing hard on our Lana Bollito at RICK RACK! Jenn, one of our wonderful team members and sewist extraordinare, recently made the In the Folds Flynn Jacket with it and she's super excited to tell you all about it. Not only is Jenn sweet as pie, she's a big fan of spicy food (sriracha of everything), she wishes she could finish a beer, and she will always cross the street to pet a puppy!

Any modifications? Shortened sleeve length by 1”. Next time I’ll shorten the coat, too

Any helpful tips/sewing methods? Pattern has a lot of ease, I sized down to a D (my measurements put me at a size G)

Other notes: Buy extra yardage of Lana Bollito for shrinkage. A walking foot is also very helpful.

I really enjoyed sewing the Flynn Jacket by In the Folds. The pattern construction comes together beautifully due to the excellent drafting and detailed instructions. The interesting curved pockets, bias bound seams and gorgeous details all work together to produce a professional garment. I would highly recommend this pattern!

I’m so glad that I chose the beautiful Saffron colour instead of my usual gray or black. It’s the perfect statement jacket for Autumn.
