Rick Rack is hosting our first ever Spoolastic Book Fair and it’s going to be like, so rad!
If you’re into all things sewing and crafts, this is the event for you. We are going full throwback with this Spoolastic Book Fair, with a totally major selection of books and stationery curated just for this event. Come sew-cialise with other crafty folks and enjoy ice cream, drinks and nibbles while you browse our Spoolastic Book Fair. Check out the flyer for a sneak peek!
There will be a wide range of sewing, knitting and crafting books available for you, alongside stationery and a curated selection of items from the flyest local makers. Hop & Flop, Mustard Tiger, Prairie Chick Prints, and Rachel Lyon Design Co. are bringing goods that are the bomb dot com!
This nostalgia infused event is one night only, and there will be a wide range of books for all levels of craftiness. Our pals at STASH have provided some totally radical books starting at just $5.
Grab a ticket for this exclusive one night only event, with $5 from each ticket going towards purchasing new books for the Little Red Reading House. The Little Red Reading house is a local non-profit run by Calgary Reads. Reading puts children on a path to success, so we will be collecting donations for their Book Bank, as well as purchasing new books to donate with the proceeds from the tickets.
When selecting books to donate, please note Little red Reading House is looking for board books, and new and like-new books for children age 0-8. Donate, because more books in homes means better reading scores at school and more children who will grow to love reading. They get books into the hands of children who would love to own their very own!
